In 2016 - Nic, Jonny & Mani were working together as senior Physiotherapists in a busy NHS outpatient department in East London.
They started LDN PHYSIO with the aim to offer a tailored, quality physiotherapy service to Londoners; and grow as clinicians, as well as business owners.

MIKE ROBSON
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Mike has gained a wealth of experience within numerous settings throughout his professional career within the NHS, private practice and professional football academies as a specialist sports, adult and paediatric Physiotherapist.
He has worked as an Academy Physiotherapist at Chelsea Football Club which has forged a strong path in musculoskeletal physiotherapy early on in his career. He has also developed the key skills required for any emergency pitch side medical trauma management for low and high level sporting injuries and rehabilitation.
Mike is one of our football specialists and will enjoy getting you back on the pitch as part of our Return to Sport Programme. He also has a keen interest in shoulder injuries, including injuries from climbing, strength and conditioning, as well as any running-related injuries. He has experience across some of the most prominent NHS trusts and private clinics of London, and builds excellent rapport with his patients for the best outcomes.

ELLA HOPE
SPECIALIST HANDS & WRIST PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Ella is a senior physiotherapist who specialises in hand and wrist injuries. Alongside LDN, Ella currently works for an acute NHS hand therapy team in London providing postoperative wound care, splinting and rehabilitation to patients with tendon injuries, fractures, and nerve injuries. She also treats tendinopathies, ligament injuries and chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
With a wealth of experience in both the NHS and in sporting environments including treating paralympic athletes, county level tennis players, and elite youth athletes, Ella also ran the physio team at one of London's largest amateur rugby clubs providing pitchside trauma management and post match assessment to mens, womens and youth teams.
Ella has a keen interest in research and sports psychology which she read at university for her first degree, and is currently studying a Masters at Derby University.
An ex international powerlifter and divisional rugby player Ella is a keen sportswoman and regularly participates in competitive rugby union, and enjoys skiing, climbing, windsurfing, and hiking. If she is not climbing a mountain or skiing down one you'll find her with her nose in a book or in the kitchen baking :)

IBBY ABUCAR
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
After graduating from the renowned St George’s (University of London), Ibby has gained extensive experience in both the NHS and private sector. She is now a specialist MSK physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience.
Besides working at LDN physio she also works in a busy NHS Orthopaedic knee clinic, fracture clinic and alongside a sport medicine clinic. She is therefore well equipped to manage both acute and chronic injuries whilst always adopting a holistic approach to her treatments.
Having started her MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy and recently completed a module in Musculoskeletal Rehab and Exercise Prescription she is determined to get you back to full fitness and doing the things you love. She is also a qualified acupuncturist via the AACP.
She has a keen interest in lower limb injuries, fracture rehab and pre-natal care especially since becoming a new mum herself. She enjoys Pilates and getting in the gym when time allows it.
Ibby is also fluent in Dutch, Somali and a touch of Hindi.

ALICE HUNTER
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Alice is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working both with us at LDN and in one of London's main NHS trusts. She has 7 years of clinical experience after graduating in 2016 with a first class honours degree.
She has worked across a breadth of settings in MSK pratice and sports, from working in busy A+E departments to the IAAF World Para-athletic Championships, Charlton Athletic Women’s Football Club and the World Transplant Games. Alice is also part of our Hands & Wrist specialist team.
With experience of treating anything from acute sports injuries to long term neurological conditions, Alice adopts a comprehensive holistic approach, and works with her patients to ensure their physio experience is driven by their goals. She is a AACP physiotherapist, fully qualified to deliver acupuncture therapy.
Alice is interested in everything sport and exercise related, she competes in athletics and crossfit herself.

ALI FOOTE
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Ali is a specialised MSK Physiotherapist, with over 6 years of experience working in an outpatient physiotherapy setting, both in the NHS and privately, in Brighton and London.
Previously, Ali has worked in spinal pain clinics in Hackney and Central London, as well as consultant-led chronic pain management services. These experiences have allowed him to work and treat complex spinal cases, both short term and more longer standing issues. This ties in with his AACP acupuncture qualification, and experience of ‘hands on treatment’ to give a full package of care.
Ali also has a keen interest in contact sports and weight lifting, specifically the various upper limb and lower limb issues that can occur during these activities. Being a first dan black belt, currently playing for East London rugby club, Ali has firsthand experience of managing painful injuries, and understands what it takes to get you back in the game!

HARRY ROGERS
OSTEOPATH
After qualifying from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 with a Masters degree in Osteopathy Harry has continued to work across East London for a number of years. Coming from a strong sporting background, this carries over to his understanding of a broad range of sporting problems.
A keen elite hockey player and with a specialist interest in treating ultra-runners during events all over the world, Harry treats a variety of sporting and mechanical injuries, as well as the day to day physical stresses that life inflicts on us all.
Harry has experience of working with a wide spectrum of patients from triathletes and runners to office workers and expectant mothers. In 2019, having designed a highly functional foam roller, Harry launched Manta Health and now incorporates his Osteopathy at Manta Health and LDN PHYSIO.

JENNA BAILEY
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Jenna is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working both with us at LDN and in a busy central London NHS hospital.
She has a broad range of experience in both an NHS and sport setting, working with both acute and chronic injuries. Working in a busy NHS fracture clinic team has also given her ample exposure to rehabilitating post operative and fracture patients.
A keen netball player and CrossFit enthusiast, she particularly enjoys working with active patients with goals to return to all sports.
DANIELE D'ETTORRE
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Daniele is a specialised MSK Physiotherapist, that graduated with Honors in 2018 from the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam. He then completed the Exercise and Sport Medicine Masters at Queen Mary University of London in 2021.
His experience ranges from hospital settings in South Africa, to treating professional skiers in Italy and most recently he was Lead Physiotherapist for two Women’s Championship football teams (London City Lionesses and Crystal Palace).
With a special interest in shoulder and knee injuries, he loves and strives to bring every patient back to their desired activities, from everyday life to elite sport. Having had to come back from an ACL and meniscus injury himself, he will be able to offer insights both as a therapist and as a patient. Dedicated to treating the individual as a whole and not just the injured body part, Daniele will make sure the psychological aspect is taken care of just as much as the physical aspect to improve strength, resiliency and lead a pain-free, active life.
He is also fluent in Italian and enjoys leading an active lifestyle, regularly weightlifting, playing football and skiing.

JOANNA FLETCHER
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Joanna is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working at LDN Physio and as a Research Physiotherapist in orthopaedics at a London major trauma hospital.
Joanna has been a practising physiotherapist for over 6 years and has a broad range of experience, from outpatient clinics in the NHS, to scholarship athletes and elite sports professionals at the University of East London High Performance Programme; and as the Academy Head Physiotherapist at West Ham United Women.
Having completed MSc modules on rehabilitation in physiotherapy, Joanna has a keen interest in high level rehab, getting athletes back to full health and making a confident return to sport.
Within clinical practice Joanna’s passion is in rehabilitation and inclusivity in exercise and physical activity participation throughout London. Working in orthopaedic research and in outpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy clinics, Joanna has extensive experience managing people post-operatively, after fractures and works closely with orthopaedic surgeons. Through this experience Joanna has developed a keen interest in women’s health and performance.
Joanna loves staying active outside of work doing Crossfit, half marathons and triathlons.

NICOLA (NICI) VIRLEY
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
After graduating from King's College London with a Distinction (and an award for achieving the highest mark in her year), Nici has gained extensive physiotherapy experience, working in busy inner-city London NHS Trusts and within the private sector.
Besides working at LDN, Nici also works at Homerton University Hospital and has completed service within a range of settings that include managing both acute sports injuries, post-fracture/operative and soft-tissue injury rehabilitation, long-term conditions such as osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue and back and neck pain.
She has recently completed service within the 'Women's Health' team so has experience in assessing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction and pre and post-natal musculoskeletal pains.
Nici has special interest in lower limb injuries, especially managing tendinopathies and post-operative rehab, as well as working with peri/post-menopausal women's aches and pains.
When she's not working, Nici loves running, lifting weights, HIIT, Pilates, yoga, tennis and skiing...and is hoping to join a local women's soccer team.

JONNY SUMNER
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
& CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Jonny is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 12+ years experience and a wealth of knowledge across a broad range of sporting injuries.
With Premier League experience at Tottenham Hotspur FC football academy and at the IAAF World Athletic Championships 2017, London, Jonny has treated athletes at the highest level.
onny's knowledge doesn't stop there. He specialises in the treatment of hip, knee and ankle conditions and has an extra interest in return to sports spinal and shoulder conditions as well. Jonny's experience in training those back to peak performance and helping those to rewind the years after longer term injuries is one of his best traits.
And himself? He's an all-rounder at sports and uses that personal experience at high level sports to reflect on his skills in the clinic. County swimmer, British champion youth ironman (surf life saving), youth Devon and South-West England basketball player, and now runner and adiv right winger/striker at football. Just don't ask him about his recent Gazza '96 goal.

NIC COLOMBO
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
& CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Nic is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 12+ years experience. After graduating with a first class honours Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2012, he then went on to work in a wide variety of clinical settings, ranging from some of the largest NHS trusts in London to professional sports clinics, and has gained extensive experience at assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
His passion for physiotherapy, particularly sports physiotherapy, stems from a successful swimming career in France his home country where he competed at national level. His special interests include post-operative and return-to-sport rehabilitation, and he particularly enjoys working with swimmers and runners of all levels. He is also the physiotherapy lead of our TMJ clinic.
Nic has a keen interest in physiotherapy in the workplace and has undertook extra training in office health & ergonomics. He has run on-site clinics in companies of all sizes including some of the biggest corporations and enjoys helping businesses improve workplace productivity and well-being.

MANI MATHARU
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
& CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Mani is a senior musculoskeletal Physiotherapist working in East London. His work across different NHS trusts and specialities over the past 12+ years has enabled him to grow his experience in treating patients with varying conditions.
His special interests include nutrition, return to sports and calisthenics. Mani is part of our Hands & Wrist specialist team, building on experience in a prominent H&W clinics at one of London's major hospitals. He is also a qualified nutrition consultant and works with our patients in ensuring their rehab is not impacted by any unmet dietary needs.
Prior to entering the world of physiotherapy, Mani studied Neuroscience where he was passionate about neural plasticity, motor imagery and neurodegenerative disorders. He feels that his extensive research into sleep, stress and motivation play a large part in the rehabilitating patients back to full fitness.
Mani is a keen footballer and plays regularly with his local team. If you are recovering from a football injury, he'll probably take you to the park for a 1v1!

KAL KARRARA
MASSAGE THERAPIST
With 10 years of experience in remedial, sports and pregnancy massage, Kal has gained valuable skills while studying, living and working in Sydney and London. He has a both a traditional and holistic approach, and he uses all the techniques he’s gained in his treatments today.
Kal believes sports massage is a necessity in terms of keeping the body healthy – and that maintaining various aspects of sports therapy will only help the person’s wellbeing both mechanically and mentally.
Kal’s interest in sports massage began while practising kung fu, where he encountered people who had old injuries. He was able to help their recoveries, but he also wanted to be able to dig a little deeper and really find out what was happening in their bodies.
Kal has a specific interest in treating people with neck, shoulder and hip issues – whether to improve performance, aid recovery from an injury, or simply allow people to be able to work at a desk free from aches and pains. When away from the office you can find Kal practising his two great passions – Wing Chun kung fu and boxing.

MARGHERITA GIULIODORI
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Margherita is a L5 Sports Massage Therapist with a background in Contemporary Dance. At the core of her practice resides a strong will to help people live pain-free and ultimately to allow any individual to achieve their optimal well-being.
Led by her passion for movement and body mechanics, she worked alongside the healthcare team of the Royal Ballet School and London Contemporary Dance School to support students in their training. Other than dancers and artists, she has tons of experience working with athletes and office workers.
She considers herself creative, and her clinical approach reflects it. Taking into account the physical, psychological and social aspects of individuals, she aims to inspire people to encourage them in finding their unique way out of pain. Thus, home care and lifestyle suggestions are always brought in with an empathetic attitude, with the client at the centre of attention.
Aside from dancing, you will find Margherita doing yoga, swimming, and hiking around the world.

KASIA BOGACZ
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Originally from Poland, Kasia has been living in The UK since 2010 and now calls it her second home. Health conscious since early years, influenced by her herbalist dad she began studying biology, anatomy and human movement first out of curiosity to later decide to make it her career and life path.
She is a nature lover, a barefoot enthusiast who reads research papers for pleasure and never stops learning. In 2017 Kasia graduated as Soft Tissue Therapist and decided it wasn’t enough, so she took it further and now is in her 4th year of a Master of Osteopathy degree.
She treats people from all walks of life and professions. Her approach is holistic and person-centred with a good mixture of skills to treat athletes, office workers as well as pre- and post-natal patients.
Kasia has a keen interest in scars and how manual therapy can aid healing processes post- injury/surgery not only for aesthetic reasons but also for functional purposes.
During treatments, Kasia utilises various tools and approaches like dry needling, IASTM or lymphatic drainage techniques to created unique treatment for patient’s specific needs.

Chin-Yu ‘Yoshi’ Ng is a Tuina & Sports Massage Therapist, starting out in 2016. Working primarily with dancers & athletes, Yoshi’s passion is to help clients improve, optimise & maintain their rest, recovery, performance & general health.
His extensive manual therapy skills-set includes cupping therapy, IASTM & osteopathic techniques. This is further complemented by his recent admission onto a BSc physiotherapy program as of 2021, along with completion of a level 3 personal training & level 4 strength & conditioning course.
A 4x dance competition winner & truth-seeker with diverse interests ranging all the way from martial arts & Hip Hop to food culture & philosophy, Yoshi’s mission in life is to help bring forth the best of ourselves & each other through the arts & healthcare.

MARKOS PACHATOURIDIS
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Markos has over 10-year experience as a sports rehabilitation and sports massage therapist and is also an osteopath trainee.
Markos provides his clients with a variety of individualised and detailed information about postural improvement, strengthening and stretching, as well as STM, MET techniques, general articulation of human body joints and stretching exercises. Markos also provides acupuncture-dry needling and cupping therapy, to relieve strain and improve function and mobility.
Markos has also collaborated with football clubs and karate athletes back in Greece, supporting their rehabilitation and spared headed the first aid services during games.

WILL JOHNSON
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Will holds a Diploma in Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapy from the LSSM and a Bachelors in Medical Science from the University of Birmingham. Combining his knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with a holistic and healing practice such as massage, Will offers a bespoke and personable approach to hands on therapy.
He is trained in Sports Massage, General Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Soft Tissue Therapy, Swedish Massage, Injury Recovery / Rehabilitation, Head Massage, and Deep Relaxation Massage (stress/anxiety).
Will understands stresses and strains on the working body. He has previously worked as a tennis coach, has captained rugby and basketball teams up to university level, and has completed several endurance cycling events such as bike-packing the length of France (and back!) and Lands End to John O'Groats, as well as trekking the Annapurna circuit in Nepal. He currently trains in squash, calisthenics, running, and surfing.
Will is a strong mental health advocate and regularly practices yoga and meditation, incorporating both breath-work and mindfulness into his sessions. Whether you are an athlete training for an event, rehabilitating after an injury, or simply looking to destress, Will offers a session for all.
