Some cash-back schemes will require your therapist to be accredited by certain associations (eg: SMA...)

If your insurer only covers physiotherapy / osteopathy treatment, then you can get an authorisation code for physiotherapy instead.
We will be able to use sports massage or acupuncture as a treatment technique within physiotherapy / osteopathy sessions should this be appropriate for your diagnosis.

Please be advised that we cannot process your invoices without the information listed above and valid authorisation, resulting in the need to self-fund your appointment
How much your insurance will pay per session can vary from our standard pricing. We have agreements in place with different insurers. Some of the rates covered might mean that your session will be 30mins instead of our standard 45mins. You can then top-up if you want to, but you are in no way obliged to.
There is usually a limit on how much therapy you can claim for. This is either a monetary amount (e.g. £500 per year) or measured by the number of sessions you can receive.
You cannot usually claim for any equipment bought (splinting, insoles...)
BILLING & COSTS
Before commencing your treatments, it's crucial to understand the following:
- Does your policy include an excess? If yes, what is the amount?
- When does your policy start? (This is important to determine when you might need to pay your excess again.)
If you need to pay your excess, contact us and we will raise an invoice for you. If your treatment is authorised with us, you don't have to wait to pay your excess to book or be seen.
